Austin Hayes, MD
A native of Portland, Oregon, Dr. Austin Hayes attended the University of Oregon and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors (Top 2%). He completed his M.D. at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. AOA honors are given to the top 10% of the graduating class. While in medical school he completed an additional year of dedicated research to study nerve regeneration after traumatic injury.
Dr. Austin Hayes was drawn to the aesthetic aspects of plastic surgery and completed an integrated plastic and reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. This is one of the nation’s premier training programs for plastic surgeons. To gain expertise in the field of hand surgery Dr. Hayes completed a hand surgery fellowship at the Raymond Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore. While in Baltimore, Dr. Hayes traveled on a medical mission to the Dominican Republic to treat patients with debilitating injuries.
Dr. Hayes specializes in aesthetic surgery and has spent several dedicated months in Philadelphia and Seattle where he studied under prominent aesthetic surgeons. He has expertise in Brazilian butt lift (buttock enhancement), breast augmentation and lifting, labiaplasty, liposuction, tummy tuck and mommy makeover.
Austin lives in Portland with his wife and two children.
