Case Details

This 51 year-old-female underwent bilateral implant based breast reconstruction after mastectomy. At the same time as her bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy performed by her surgical oncologist, we placed  tissue expanders below the muscle. Expansions were performed weekly till the desired volume was achieved, and second stage surgery was performed where the expanders were exchanged with the permanent silicone implants. Almost 1 year later she then underwent autologous fat grafting to bilateral breasts to enhance overall contour since her body habitus is quite fit, and overlying tissues over the implants was quite thin. After photos were taken 6 months after final surgery.
